"Humans never change huh?" he mumbled before laying on his side as if he was going back to sleep " So troublesome.."

"I suppose. But it wasn't all bad." I say feeling the need to defend my species in some way "I used to walk by this art shop and they had the most beautiful paintings. There was one artist who drew very small and otherwise unimportant things. The fluttering of a birds wing, A cats eye or the sunset. He captured it so well that I loved to just sit outside the window and look at the art." I sigh remembering those days of imaginings "I would imagine that the bird wing was taking me away far away up into a land of clouds and that I could sit up there in the clouds where everything was quiet and I could just watch the sunsets forever." I trail off with a slight frown as I remember those good times.

He rolled over to face you seeming to be thinking as he studied your face for quite some time before standing up and facing the shore " If you want to reach the clouds all you have to do is ask..." he said quietly before looking over his shoulder his eyes swimming with thought again before looking away a he spoke he spoke " You have a pure heart...... so I might be able to fly you.."

My mind spiralled out with thoughts of going up there. I look over at him "Really?" I ask starting to hope. a small smile threatens to form but I still can't quite believe it.

Emerie went into the cave and changed out of her dress and into the new one. She flattened out the fine material and went back outside to show Pride, "Does it look nice?" She asked nervously.
