And Newt sucks at keeping things secret, she thought wryly. "So do you guys have any idea where does stones are?"

"Nope." Newt answered cheerfully.

Nicote, seeeing Newt had turned his back to him the grab more fish, spitballed some seeds at him.

Astra bit her tongue to keep from laughing. "Wait," she said suddenly thinking of something. "So how did you find the other stones?"

"Hunches. Wandering. Loudstone. Chaos (like for patience there were a lot of angry customers outside shops)." Newt replied. He felt the spitballed seeds. "Serously? What the-NICOTE ALEXANDER MARKER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Newt lunged at the laughing Nicote who shimied intto the shadows and reappeared next to Astrana and Taeri.

"Such an efficient method." she said before laughing. She turned to Nicote. "Nice job of love seed-spitting."

"Number one way to figure out that the Lovestone isn't here" Nicote replied cheerfully. Newt shook his head and took a seat on the other side from him.

"Wonderful, please tell me this is not the ancient power we're trying to find."

"It's a stone. One of 13." Nicote reminded.

She made a face at him. "Of course I know that, but seriously now we have a rock situation and we have to find an ancient artifact littered with prophecies of death and hardships and stuff like that."
