"So if you sent it to a certain group of characters, why me? Why didn't someone else come?"

"Good question. I set it to a certain group of players but not all players are playing. A lot stopped when the game threats came in, but a few, like you, kept right on playing. Which is what that little note Jack left on his computer said to do." Nerd said. "The message was supposed to pop up to the first player to complete Level 300 on Hard mode."

"Well, I'm sure I wasn't the first," she laughed uncomfortably. "I mean that would be crazy. What are we supposed to do now, though?" Angel asked, trying to change the subject

Nerd gestured around him for her question answer, then continued. "Yeah, well, even if your weren't you were the first to click accept." He shrugs.

He does something and gear info eont if him starts to spin. The cube starts rotating. "That's good. I think." He says. He cubes it turns around so you dont have to move to stay upright.

"See? You figured it out on your own. You didn't need my help." She then quickly added, "not that I would be any help."

"That's because j coded a temporary solution. It wont hold. It just slows down that." He pointed ipwqrds at the Disintergration. "So, yknow, some of your technical skills might be a little helpful over here."

Angel rolled her eyes and scoffed. "I'll try, but no guarantees." She examined the machine, and what Nerd had done to it.

He's coded in a generator to manually make the cube move. Other then that, there were missing pieces, broken parts, and who knows what. A wire sparked.

Angel thought for a moment before looking at other machines, seeing if any of them had parts that would go into the other machine she was working on. She also looked for something to keep the electrical charge inside the sparking wire
