"Austria seems more uptight lately..." Hungary said, playing a bit with her food.

I look over at her "Yeah? Any reason why?"

No one seemed to be following them. The street was cold and dark. The lights of Moscow were visible in the distance.

Japan smiled and scratched Velos under the chin.

Taithlon smiled and looked up, lifting the light up, "First impressions of all the countries?" she teased, "France better watch out, he could have competition for the flirtiest country out there."

Velos put his paws on Japans lap and settled down, like a cat, for a full body scratch, because cats and red panda.. pfft.. same thing, right? He lifted up his paw and tried to push the collar that said 'property of Japan' off. It was bugging him.

"Actually, there was a scrap of news in the paper about Austria's new leader being an ex-Nazi supporter." Germany said.

I deflate slightly "oh...I-I didn't know that"

I smile "Not sure if I like being compared to a chicken." then add "but it was amazing to meet them! They were all so different I hadn't realized there would be so many"

Japan smiled. "How did this get on you?" he asked, undoing the collar. "Did Pochi do this?"

Velos looked at Pochi and grumbled, "And Taithlon. I don't get why I couldn't have stayed"

"I guess Austria's pretty conflicted at the moment." Prussia said.
"Yeah..." Hungary sighed.
"That still doesn't stop him from being a dummkopf though." Prussia added.

I eat the rest of the food in relative silence
