Ow

You know that Chinese little kid show Ni Hao Kai-lan? Isn't kailan a vegetable? Did they do that on purpose or am I being ridiculous or what? I just realized that...

I was bored because we did a symbolism thingy in English Honors that involved watching Elsa sing 'Let It Go' for an hour and discussing how throwing away her cloak meant freeing herself and whatever. It was really interesting, actually, but my teacher for that class is slightly boring.
So my friend and I hid in the back on the computer, looked up symbolism because the lesson was not helping (we usually do this because our teacher doesn't really teach but gives us tests that require actually learning the material) played with my wardrobe, and eventually somehow made symbolic avi versions of ourselves, because... we're edgy teenagers?
Wow, mine is really depressing now that I think about it.
If you can guess what everything represents, have some diamonds.
Because Christmas.
By Christmas, I mean severe boredom and obsessions with throwing things at people.
I just impromptu decided to do that.
So here's hers:

And mine is what I'm wearing right now.
Is this a contest?
Probably not, because I came up with it two minutes ago as I was writing.
Also, we were talking about what we would look like if we had avi versions of ourselves, like Warcross if you've ever read that book. Mine looked like me... with wings... but at least they have normal outfits now (no oversized college t-shirts, sadly)
Post your own if you'd like. I like seeing random things.

We had Sci Bowl practice today, which is basically a buzzer-based competitive team science thingy. This is... my second year? My majors are Physics and Math, but there's Bio, Chem, Earth & Space, etc.
So basically, I was on the A Team last year, but during practices we don't always go on our official teams.
So somehow I ended up on a team with a bunch of shy 9th graders, and the rest of my A Team members on the other team, including my captain, who is pretty awesome, by the way.
I somehow carried my teammates and beat the other team 104 to 0 :D
Even though my majors are Phys and Math, I'm not excellingly good at Physics (although pretty good at math) so I made it up by answering all the other subjects because random knowledge sticks in my head.
I was the only person on my team answering.
I still don't know how I pulled that off, but I am too proud of myself.
And then I was scorekeeping (not in the round) but doing a math question because I was bored, I counted on my fingers the answer, then someone who was actually in the round saw me counting so I quickly hid my hand behind my back too fast and accidentally bashed my forearm into a lab table.
I have a lovely bruise now.
Good night xD

Oh by the way, what did you guys do for Thanksgiving?
It was my brother's 18th birthday as well so... yeah. Parties.

Aiyeeeee sorry!

Hmm. Death is pretty interesting.
I mean, it isn't like I want to kill anyone or die or...
Don't listen to me rn I'm sleep deprived

I actually am pretty spiritual, I just don't care much for organized religion. I've read the Bible, the Koran, the Book of Mormon, and a lot of world-wide mythology/religious literature. It all amounts to the same thing--be a generous and kind person, don't intentionally behave in a manner that injures others physically, emotionally or monetarily and follow your conscience when making tough decisions.

I believe everyone has the right to their own belief system and don't mean to impugn any particular one, but human history is violent and religion has been at the heart of much of it, which seems counter to its purpose, but tyrants and dictators will use any sword in a pinch. I have nothing against the Christians, but history tells the story of the Crusades and of missionaries who forcefully removed native religions in favor of their system. Why do you think a small Jewish sect is now one of the dominant world religions? But other belief systems have been used in that manner as well. Organized religion has a bloody history. After all, it worked for the Romans, the Ottoman Empire, etc. etc. etc.

It's all good, I do the same thing X3
I figured you meant no offense
I don't recommend death. I've done it a couple times, went the reincarnation route, rather boring thing, really~

With a lack of a social life xD
