*rides her kelpari*

C. seems th most reasonable. I do not trust creeping fog at all, and the digging for treasure seems like a trap for something to just come out and grab you.

My final answer is C. Enter the house through the front door

I could be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure that treasure was never our goal. The shovel could be a trick or a trap for those deemed greedy. I don't trust the fog either, it seems quite ominous. I'm not super confident about entering the house either, but its threat isn't so obvious as the fog and its purpose is less against the goal than digging for treasure so...I choose to enter the house.

Don't like the sound of that fog at all xP

I think I'll rather go into the house than start digging. We don't really know where the treasure is, we would take a long time just randomly digging, and possibly just waste our energy. Plus, I don't like that feeling of being watched. If something is after us, digging could leave us vulnerable.

The house probably contains nasties as well. But it may hold some clues to finding the treasure...

My final answer's C, enter the house through the front door.

Yay! *hugs draeyl*

I think we should check out the house first, we can always dig up the treasure later. My final answer is C.

Chapter 11:

While the rest of the group chooses to enter the house through the front door, Hemmons decides to stay and start digging, hoping to find ancient, valuable buried treasure. You open the cold, brass doorknob just as you did at the other house and step inside. This house is exactly the same and for a moment you expect the black hole to form in the middle of the room, but it doesn't.

The small amount of light cast by the candle gives you an idea of your surroundings, but you can't see too well. Sessi makes a quick gesture to her draeyl and he fills the room with light from his tail flame. The house is dusty, old, abandoned. There isn't much in the room except for a lever on the North wall, the same tapestry from the other house on the West wall and a small table with a small vial of liquid on the East wall.

Upon investigating the lever you see an arrow pointing down to the floor scrawled crudely above the lever on the wall, probably in white chalk. The group moves onto the tapestry, which initially appears to be the exact same as the other, but upon further observation you notice a different message stitched in beautifully and with care which reads, "Here she lay." There is also a rope hanging from the top of the cloth, probably to pull the tapestry off the wall. You move to the Eastern wall, looking at the vial which glows with a bright brilliant blue, it almost reminds you of the potions you find in Aryth's Spire.

What will the group do?
A. Pull the lever.
B. Pull the tapestry rope.
C. Drink the potion.

Hemmons can not choose an option this chapter.

You have until December 9th to submit your answer!

Oh hmm any answer can lead to death. Last time we messed with a tapestry 3 people were killed. The lever could make you fall into a big hole. The potion well it could do anything.

I choose C: Drink the Potion. I'm feeling brave.

So if the house is anything like the last one, that lever is more than likely going to send us falling into the basement with whatever is creating the creepy fog that was seeping out of the cellar doors. Who knows what the potion is about, but I don't want to explode...

"Here she lay" seems significant somehow, but I can't figure out if it's a riddle or clue or what. The letters don't seem to rearrange into anything interesting, and it isn't another acrostic. And who is "she"? A person? The thing in the cellar? The treasure? Could there be a treasure map or instructions on how to find it on the back of the tapestry?

I think our best option is to examine the tapestry for more information. My final answer is B. Pull the tapestry rope.
