Uh... I never had designed anything tropical ever before... A sunset over the sea was the closest to that xDDD
So many ideas xD
Here are my 5 entries. As a Florist I just couldn't resist to theme them around flowers xD
(And OMG... Did I seriously spent 6 hours non-stop? xDDD)

Just wanted to tell you, that I really like your Tropical Garden Design xD
I searched for my designs for some pictures and stumbled across some tropical garden pictures as well and you really pictured it nicely ^o^

Somehow I never dare to combine light pink with a bright orange like you did, whenever I design something. I'm always afraid it won't look good and use another colour xD (Yeah, I now, I'm not brave with my colour-palette)

I know, I know, that's not the tropics. But I've been there before, and it means a lot to me, so I had to incorporate it.
Canadian Rainforest:

I forgot the name of the trail I walked through, so I can't give a pic. Soz.

I'll sit this one out for now, but I may come back later. There's stuff going on IRL for me.

I am very pleased to see how many of you have jumped into this challenge already on day 1. Please see my individual notes to you.

@Silver....I love what you did with your designs, and naming them after I am guessing your favorites things about the tropics. I can see I believe what you had visualized there. However, with your "Tropical Butterfly" I am not seeing the butterfly. Usually they are a lot more colorful than what you have displayed there. I wish not to sound harsh, but it does appear a bit lack luster. Maybe putting a little more color with in the body itself might make it pop a little more? Just a suggestion, so you can take it as you will hon. Otherwise, very nice work.

@Dragon....You have some really nice designs going on there. I love the vibrant colors in your first design, as it really pops and catches the eye. Your "Flamango" seems a bit dark. I thought that flamingos were more of a soft light or bright pink? Maybe I am wrong...And with your traits you added, is there a way to add a different color in there hon to make them pop against the pink feathers or did you want them to blend in?

@Poeticthoughts....Your "Tropical Rainbow" was cute. Your rainbow trait and flows do stand out against the light fur coat and blends nicely into the soft peachy orange color of the under coat. Over all nice work. My only suggestion is have you tried using other colors for the top coat of fur?

@Lala...I truly like your designs very much. I can see the botanical garden in your first design, and I love your "Tropical Beach" kelps. They are very beautiful. Sad thing is, I honestly have no suggestions or negative things to say. Keep up the great work!

@Oreo...I am going to be honest with you Oreo. Your design doesn't so much remind me of a "Tropical Storm", but more of a Macaw in a storm. I love the coloring you chose there. Very nice indeed. The only thing that doesn't really seem to fit is the design on the wings. It is a nice design don't get me wrong, it just seems a bit off. Otherwise, great job!

@Sakura...Thank you for your multiple submissions, they are very nice. You started out strong with your design concept, though I will admit it seems you lost a little bit of steam with your last design. Based off the pictures you used for reference, you had a strong foundation there. However, I see a few colors that (just a suggestion here) you missed out on that could have maybe benefited the design a little. With the male, there are blues and purples I see really predominant in the flower, where with the female there is a bit of white, or very pale yellow that might have caused her to shine more? I hope that makes sense. If not, please let me know and I hopefully can explain better. Otherwise, nice job!

@Pinky...Though your design does not exactly follow suit with the concept and idea of the challenge, I am accepting it because it does have numerous tropical islands with in the wide spansive area of the Pacific ocean. I do understand your designs hold a special place for you, but remember to go a long with the challenge concept going forward. Otherwise, I like your design.
