The Wyvern creeps over to Balthur, making a keening noise.

"No, they... fired some arrows before they approached..." he winces again. "Bounced off the Wyvern's scales, but... I don't have scales." He gives a weak smile.

Now you see the arrow that points out from his flank. It's just low enough that it probably hasn't hit anything vital... but it's bleeding a lot. He might not live if it goes untreated.

Crimson whines and nuzzles into your side while you try to rest. You don't get any better - in fact you're starting to feel really, really tired. It's a hard lesson for magic-users, but a vital one. You're just experiencing it now, in the middle of a grassland, when others would be in a safer place.

Your eyes start to droop. You're vaguely aware of the other creatures laying down by your side, pressing in close.

You wake up, disorientated but feeling refreshed. And wet. Droplets of water splash against your face and not much of you isn't soaked through... the parts where the other creatures are staying, steadfast, by your side.

Balthur hisses through his teeth as he shifts to look up at you. "You know where the medpack is," he manages to get out.

I open my eyes and look around to see if the other creatures are there or if it was a dream.

They're there, all five of them watching you with concerned gazes. Crimson most of all. She jumps at your face, licking you furiously. You scared me so much! Are you okay? You slept for a day, even Emberpaw isn't that lazy! Please say you're okay, she yaps at you.

Most of its contents are strewn across the ground, but even in the dark you can see the shape of the medpack. It hasn't been opened, luckily.
