So the black stallion was chased off and the herd moved on and the black stallion helped a human down the mountain and then some of the herd spit and stayed with the black stallion

the two foals play with each other and the older mare stays by blackout when blackout nighs she doesn't respond right away [she's half deaf] they nuzzle each other and lighty nip at each other's mane

Luca goes over and opens the gate for snowfall to go find the chief.

the chief is rummaging in his pickup trunk

"hey I found black out," she said riding up holding on to snowfall so she wouldn't fall.

Luca sees two pickup trucks that says wildlife and game the trucks chase blackout's small herd and a tranq gun sticks out the window and the tranq dart hits blackout in the rear. It takes a few minutes for the tranq to kick in but when it does blackout [who is leading the herd] stops and flops down the other horses run around him split up in a panic and run towards luca's barn.

luca see's this and rides over to the truck hand on her pocket where her knife was.

a game warden comes out of the car
"mrs ima have to ask you to get out of my way i need to get to that wild horse over there" he points to blackout "we've been trying to track this horse for three years to put it out of it's misery it needs to be euthanized"
