It wasn't slimy or cold like you could expect from a fish like creature, it was more like you were touching some kind of warm silk. It's eyes keept on staring at you quietly, almost like an adult waiting for a child to calm down.

I stroke it if it lets me.

The creature didn't realy do anything about it, it seem to be use to that type of reaction or at the very least it was smart enough to understand your situation. It still looked like it was waiting for somthing to happen, you wern't capable to tell it's age but it was clear that it had more patience that you could ever have.
