My Holiday Griffi entry is inspired by a very special Christmas I remember from my childhood:

That year, the 101 Dalmatians were very popular, and I just loved that movie. My parents surprised me and my sister by getting us a whole bunch of Dalmatian-themed gifts for Christmas...PJs, stuffed toys, you name it!

I was especially captivated by the 101 Dalmatians toys that McDonald's was selling with their kids' meals at the time. Those little figurines came in so many cute poses and styles, wearing holiday hats, wrapped up in Christmas lights, and so many other things.

Thus, this male Griffi is designed to resemble one of those Dalmatian toys, with a spotted coat and big red jingle bell bows. His wings are meant to look like sprigs of holly or garland with golden ornaments.

Pastel Christmas Griffi like the colors on our tree when I was young. My grandmother always did a tree with blue lights and decorations which my mother hated, so our tree had green and white lights with just a few blue bulbs. The ornaments were silver, white, pink, and light purple. The angel had a beautiful multi-color pastel dress, hence the wings are colored like the angel.
