About Polymorphs, can they change into just about anyone they've seen, or is there a sort of requirement?
Btw, is shedding skin painful? It seems painful, but maybe since they're psychopaths, they don't care.
Also are they capable, if they put their mind to it, to work in groups or teams or under leadership?
Also, How clever/smart would you rate Polymorphs on a scale of 1-10, or does it vary?

They can change into any human, but to change into a specific person, they must have seen them/had physical contact with biological material (blood, skin, etc)
It's not painful, but it's VERY messy. The entire skin comes off and dissolves, and it must be disposed of.
They usually work in groups, actually. Not 'families', persay, but they take over positions in a town/city and work as a group.
They're more intelligent than humans on average, but it can vary.
All stuff I should have added to the document. Thanks for your questions ^^

Could Polymorphs transform into fantasy/unreal/non-existing creatures like unicorns or zombies?
Are they able to become animals? Could a baby polymorph morph into an adult or vice versa?
Also, if I don't manage to finish the story by the deadline, could I sort of...wrap it up/leave a cliffhanger and submit what I wrote, even if it's a bit incomplete?

No, they can only transform into humans.
A baby polymorph could technically transform into an adult, but very, very few develop the power before the age of 8-10, and even then, don't have the power to change into an adult.
Yes, you absolutely can do a cliffhanger ^^

Hello!
Just wondering, could I like, "change" the definition of C gene a bit, give it a slightly different name and a backstory since it doesn't have one?
Also, are polymorphs, immortal?
