Yeah, it was in the battle log like that but it just said "you've defeated 1 enemy". I was particularly checking to see what it said as an experiment because I was hoping it would say the name so I'd know I could use that for the tasks.

You just need to scroll up in the log to the line where it mentions the specific enemy defeated:
