Wraith Ryori


I was inspired by the mental image I have of a wraith as something similar to a banshee, ghost, litch hybrid kind of thing.

Ghostly Ryori, I've taken inspiration from the ethereal nature of such things as ghosts, shades, wraiths, etc

A hellbeast that escaped from the underworld.

Just a spooky bloody monster! Thinkin of vampires and the bloodiness when I did this :D

My inspiration was a Jack-O-Lantern

Based on the concept of "not a deer" mostly deer that may have chronic wasting disease that people misidentify as something spooky
Somewhere in umbra forest folks are preparing for winter chopping trees and stocking up on the dry wood they can get their hands on before the rain and eventually snow fall. Some of the folks have been seeing strange Faelora. A few describing them as "strange, unnatural, unsettling" one small child then said "I dont even think its a Faelora its... I dunno... off..." Everyone started connecting dots that weren't there. The whole town became panicked, Locking windows and doors. Jaxle Juniper the resident Sylestia Tamer Observer and Protector (STOP) came back from observing the Faelora habits for the winter. The whole town peaked around and started telling him of storys. "it comes into your home and kidnaps you!" "It pretends to be you with the sounds it can make!" Jaxle having none of this, requests from Lady Saerielle, to send a notice to all town citizens.
It says the following...
Dear residents of Umbra Forest and the Sanctuary of Saerielle,
You all have taken your fears to far. You all should know Jaxle has been surveying the outlying area for issues. He comes back here to try and get the vets available to help a few sick faelora, and you all are shivering in fear over some children's story's. I understand that seeing faelora acting like they are is scary, but they are sick and need help. Its contagious to all Faelora. Without the Faelora our forest's ecosystem is going to be in harms way. I request that all of you, no matter how little, work together to help these creatures.

Everyone realized that their fears about the Faelora were in fact children's tales. Tales that there parents told them when they were young to stay out of the woods at night. Everyone banded together to help the Faelora heal. Most made places where the Faelora could be comfy but separated. Others helped herd the Fae' into the barracks. A few if they could helped pick up and make the medicine to make these creatures feel better. Jaxle led a team to block off where the Faelora were eating and sleeping. If only to dig up and clean the area, as well as quarantine it so no more Fae' get sick. In the end, all of the Faelora that got sick were healed and released back into the wild. Only a few decided to stay and be with some of the people that helped them.

My inspiration was the Norse god Fafnir, he's a spooky wolf to say the least.

This is my Kelpari inspired by orange slime mold! Slime mold is a spooky fungus that moves around of its own volition, seeking out food sources. It's like The Blob, but tiny.



Although orange slime mold looks creepy and gross, it is generally harmless to humans and mostly consumes wooden materials like lumber, and fallen plant debris.

Halloween has almost come, so I made a Ghasty Ryori. Look at her, I realize a spooky ghost flying around at midnight, plus it has skully heads to make it look spookier...Boo! Like a nightmare...
