Not a complaint or a bug, but I'm curious: what was the reasoning behind the change in regenerating health? Encouraging potion use, something else?

The reason was b/c the old script to update stats was pretty taxing. The reason was b/c it had to check parties and check battles.

The new script runs in less than a half second.

It also, to me, makes more sense. If your pets are in their stable resting, they recover (and lose their stored fighting energy). If they are out adventuring with you, they don't.
