I love the expressiveness of my kittens, all though I feel bad for the boys, they look upset and the girls look a little afraid.

I' pretty happy. ^u^ Though, it will take some getting used to.

Absolutely striking! Just... beautiful! I must admit, I am very glad this has happened. They were cute in their original lines, but this makes them just beautiful. That may, of course, just be due to my preference of long hair cats to smooth coats.

The original lines were too... house-pet like, in my opinion. Sylestis are supposed to be wild animals, therefore the stocky, hardened appearance is much more fitting. I know there are small wild cats - such as those that are closely related to some of our domesticated animals - but the when people think wild cat, they think of lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, jaguars, cougars, etc. Plus, saber fangs look a little silly on house cats... Just my thought, though.

These new lines make them look powerful and regal. I'm thinking I will need to add some to my pets now. ^_^ Oh, and thank you to the artists and people who worked on this! Brilliant job!

I think the most important thing to remember is the site is still in Beta. It's been in open beta yes but everyone should expect changes. Changes can be scary at first and some might not be what some users may like, but lots of thought is put into making them, and changes are necessary for the site to grow and evolve.

Look at Neopets for example. If they stayed the same way they did when they were first created, they wouldn't be the powerhouse they are now. Sylestia is still a young site, but overall they're trying to be the best they can and learning and growing along the way. ^.^

They do read everyone's comments and suggestions, which is amazing that the owners work so closely with the user base. I only look forward to Sylestia growing and getting even better!

This looks like a big fluffy tomcat - fighting with a persian cat or something. I don't mind redesigns, but this is very drastic.

Can I please have the original files, then? I can approximate, recreate my beauties sort of... using layers in photoshop or whatnot. I just... can't let them go this easily.

I know people are upset about losing the house cat look that the original Vulnyx had. However, when we had the original artist design these...we did want her to go for a sabretooth type look (like they are now). Unfortunately that is just not how they came out....we did in their description and height/weight describe them as a bigger cat.

Because we did lose the house cat type look that some liked we will consider doing a small cat species later on.

Yay on the planned Draeyl revamp, very badly needed!
And I really like the new Vulnyx, have already played around with the generator, planning a new project...

Siberian Doublestripe seems to have been inverted, can we at least get that back as it was originally? It messes up the color scheme terribly:
