When hearing the word 'summer', the first thing that I think of is the rich green of forests with dense undergrowth and the sun shining through the leaves and branches, casting long shadows onto the floor.

What are summer campfires without some roasted marshmallows? xD

going to the forest to sit by the lake enjoying the coolness of the forest

Mine is based off of the abysmal sea, basically its the deep part of the ocean where very little to no light is ever found. Yet the creatures there use light as both offensive and a defensive weapon. A number of the creatures known come as translucent or a blue-ish translucent color. I loved the documentary they showed of the area and of these small krill like creatures that would shoot a blue glowing goo to confuse enemies, and so my lig is based off of the pic and the creatures that use the goo they shoot out to confuse enemies ^^

What I remember most as a kid during the summer was the camping trips I went on with my parents up north. During the night in the middle of the woods just sitting around the camp fire and listening to the sounds of the woods. Looking up at the sky and seeing the Aurora Borealis and the stars and around that area only the greens where really visible.

So I made this lovely boy




He has G1 Bengal Fade, to show the color of the Aurora I remember seeing as a child with the fading towards the back as if the clouds where coming in, because it always seemed we chose the week to go camping was the week it rained and we got only a day or so of clear night sky seeing the moon and the stars.


G3 Ember Runes for the fire we sat around roasting marshmallows and listening to the forest around our campsite, though unfortunately most of the sounds where of others in the same camp area.

and lastly Mutation 2, flame wings, though it's not the happiest times summer signifies a lot of wild fires though I have never seen one in person but I imagine that it could look like the wings above, the dark parts the already burnt and dark forest with the flames raging on. It is a devastating force of nature but it's also a part of summer, with it as the forest burns away it leaves room for new trees and plants. The ashes from the forest that was once there and is now gone help nurture the new forest that will grow bigger and stronger then the one before as the land renews itself.
