I see. Thanks. I was kind of wondering what proficiency to use and after reading I realized that any proficiency that heal the party do so at a measly rate.
After all, 10% of damage done to an enemy that is channeled into healing is pretty meager.

I guess I will stick to the Shadow Proficiency which can cause Siphon and might be useful.

Anyways I am rambling again, thanks for the help. I guess I will stick to my original team.

While it's true that the healing bonus is not very much, in my experience it can really help - especially in keeping your non-tank pets alive. Outside boss battles, i never have to use mend or elixirs because of my healer. Of course, having a high damage stat is really important for this. I always recommend trying and seeing what works for you!

Hmm..I am toying with the idea of changing my magic damage pets proficiency to Light rather than shadow however each one has its own advantages too.

The shadow ability of Siphon is useful to help weaken an enemy but the Bolt ability from the Light proficiency also can be helpful too.

Siphon can help heal the single pet but bolt can deal a bit of health to all party members too. Hmm..choices.

Yeah, it can be hard - but fun! - to find a good balance. I'm a big fan of the Fairy Lights attack, which hits all 3 enemies and heals all three party pets.

Anyway, i hope you find what works for you!

Yeah, I was thinking of Fairy lights too. Quite nice and Beam is quite useful too.
I might change my magic pet to that.

Actually I am in the middle of that zone where I have to battle Vorpar so maybe if I can get him out of the way I might get some good gear for the other battle...maybe.

Hey I know I might sound like a total noob but I can't seem to remember how to put pets in my battle party please please help

This was just changed, so don't worry! Before, you could add pets to your party from their profile page, but this is not possible anymore.

Now, you have to go to Explore -> Party. This will bring you to the Party Manager Page. To add pets to your party, you have to go down to the bottom of the page and find the pet you want in the drop-down menu on the right. Once you have the pet you want, click the big green "+",

When your party is full, don't forget to click the "set party" button right under slot 1!
