Quick question, will these gene and mutation accent colors be new, added colors? Or will they be the eye color renamed or something? [I remember seeing a thread about that a while back]
I remember how much the added color slots skewed the Vulnyx colors...

Anyway, I'm super exited and nervous about all of this. I really liked the simple, cute design of the old qitari but I'm very excited to see how all of the traits will look. I have a lot of qitari that I adore and can't wait to see what they'll look like.

Accent colors will originally be pets' eye colors (since that's primarily what they'll be replacing on genes and mutations).

After that, they will of course be random in wild pets and you pick them on generated pets.

We will also probably re-adjust themed pets so that their accent colors looks nice.

I'm excited, I think they are going to look awesome! I can't wait to play with them in the generator after the revamp is released. Way to go, Krin, Fai, and creative team!

Okay, that's what I thought. I just wanted to confirm because you said that visually [well, color-wise lol], not much would change with all of the updates and then started talking about new accents. I remember how Vulnyx didn't have a color 3, which was randomized when it was added and messed up a lot of pets.
Oh! I'm excited to see how themed will change with the accent thing! Will that be added to the other species over time?

Yes, possibly after the Sylvorpa (currently underway).

All of our older species' artwork needs to be updated so they all match the detailedness and quality of our newer artwork.

Since we know there is great adoration for the Zolnixi as is, we most likely won't change very much about the species other than just updating the lineart/shading.

I know you guys have a lot on your plate right now, but somewhere along the line, do you think you could soften the male morkko's face? I love the female, but the male is a little too fierce for my taste. I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I think that they should look more sneaky like the females!! :D

Also, When do you think can we see a sneak peek at the vorps? I have a vorp starter, and I want to see what she will look like!!

The Morkko species will also be revamped as well.

And no, no sneak peaks yet outside of a few links we've given in the general chat that I don't have atm.

But probably soon. They are coming along a lot faster than the Qitari were - the species as a base is much easier to create than Qitari so it really shouldn't be long before we're able to start announcing the Sylvorpa.

will the aurleons get revamped?

Yes. All will eventually except for the newest ones. Some revamps will be more minor than others. Aurleons will probably be pretty minor. Mostly just updating artwork and fixing mutation layering issues.
