I have to admit that the male looks weird to me. Is he going to stay at that angle? It looks like he's sitting on an invisible slope, rather than jumping or whatever action he was intended on doing. I keep wanting to twist the image so that both of his feet are on the ground.
Overall they look good and I'm excited to see how the genes will play together.

They are absolutely lovely! :) I love the male's current pose, but I don't mind the change that much. I'm sure I will learn to love this version, too. And the babies are so cute and chubby I want to hug them >w<
The only thing that looks a little odd to me is the baby boy's bottom feet. I'm not really sure what side of the foot I'm looking at. Is it the top of the foot, or the bottom? Either way, with the hip being at the angle it is, it wouldn't be able to be turned completely inwards or outwards like it appears to be. It would probably be at a more 3/4 angle.
That being said, I love, love, LOVE this redraw and I'm excited for my vorpas to get their makeover. The artist has done an amazing job, as always. :) Thank you for all the hard work!

For the majority of the ones I have, I don't really care since it's likely to be facsinating, but for the ones shown here, I paid for them. As in, used actual money to buy diamonds to get the essences...I don't want the genes or the colors used to change because of that reason. If they do change, then I expect to receive new essences to start over with so that I can design something I like if the ones I had are ruined.
This is reasonable.
Set 1
Set 2
With the first set, there's an extra female to provide an alternate gene. With the second set, there is only the one pair. The offspring from the extra female will be bred to the offspring of the second pair.

Hm. This looks really promising. You've already addressed the issues of the male's small size and the lack of frills around the antennae/gills (the frills are one of my Favorited Sylvorpa features). When I imagine the male re-sized and the frills visible, they look quite good indeed. I particularly like the visible claws and the fact that the female retains the grace of her original pose. To me, the male looks like he's climbing down an invisible slope, cautiously, rather than jumping. Also, both adults now clearly possess shoulder blades, which makes their legs-underneath stances look more natural.
The Hatchling male is much, much better than the current version: more detail, more visible personality, and he's sturdier-looking. The current Hatchling male looks kind of fragile. I don't think there's anything wrong with having the female's eyes closed. The male Lunemara Hatchling also has closed eyes, after all
Really, the only caveat I have is the male's barbels. To me, it seems more natural that they would droop to either side of his mouth. These look more like a cat's or an otter's whiskers. Perhaps you could consider making them droop again?
While I'm on the subject, can't the female have barbels? She needs to locate food too.
PS I cannot praise those tiny claws enough. They really add to making the Sylvorpa look like a capable, competent Sylesti.

Is it just me or are they a little more mudkippish now? That is not a complaint, it's a plus. Axolotl are adorbs <3
