Vorpa entry: Runic Rose. Intended for the Runes type marking slot, this marking is meant to be sort of a mix of geometric shapes and floral outlines.


Tari entry: Mackeral Scales. Based on Atlantic Mackeral patterns. The grey is meant to be the scale color.


Luff entry: This is very loosely themed off of the markings of a species of Wrasse, but as it's pretty liberal interpretation there, I don't know what to call it.


Vul entry: This is very loosely themed off of Discus markings, but it's even more liberal interpretation.. so uhm yeah.. I don't know what to call this either.


Aeri entry: Going to resubmit Tropical Runes submission from Summer. ^^ The orange teardrop shapes, blue outlines and yellow teardrops and circular shapes are meant to be the recolorable parts. The rest is meant to work like Rainbow elements as set colors. This is based loosely on Mandarin fish to keep with my random 'Everything's a fish' theme going on this fest's gene entries. XD


Nixi entry: Hawkfish Markings. Yep, keeping with the fish theme haha. Giant Hawkfish is the inspiration here.


Griffi entry: Mhm. Maor fish theme! This was based on a Cardinalfish, but again I sorta wandered off the beaten track so i'm not real sure what to call it either.

Blossom Markings for the Zolnixi!
Based on cherry blossoms and concept from Pollen Markings on Sylvorpa.

Whoever did the pollen markings (both on the old and new sylvorpa) did a great job, and it'd be fitting for the new Zolnixi if its ready by spring. c:

African Fat-tailed (based off of the White Out morph of the African Fat-tailed Gecko! Could also just be called Gecko.)

Red-Sided Garter (based off of the California Red-Sided Garter snake) Red is Eye Color, Blue is Gene Color

I don't have a name for the Zolnixi, but the Sylvorpa is based off of a Dragonet fish.


The Vulnyx is supposed to have a sort of tribal like markings. The Griffi has dragonfly patterned wings.


The Luffox has a Digi runes gene, and Qitari is supposed to have a Easter egg scale pattern.


These two have two different variations of space runes.

Shadow Stripe for Qitari

Going to give this a shot. I really can't draw but well. Why not.



This is based on a five lined skink which looks like this.


As you can see I didn't put the lines over the areas with the limbs, because the skink has no stripes on its limbs. I tried to show the fade of the lines into the all blue as best as I could, that might be too difficult to express, if so the tail could just have a blue gradient. It could also be farther stylized, and the lines should probably be put where they make more sense. But yeah. This could go in the g1 slot, the colours would be the gene colour and colour three. :)
