I wanted to base my design off of the Fire lily. Definitely my favorite type of lily.

Sakura Dream Aeridini

I purposefully chose the wings and tail to look like the fluttering petals of a cherry tree (even if they aren't based on that particular flower) and the falling petals mutation to reference the falling of the cherry blossoms. I kept her body brown as a reference to the tree trunk, and her eyes are green in reference to the greenery that comes behind the pink petals.

I would like to call my Aeris Sakura Flower Aeridini's. Their whole design is based of the beautiful Sakura flowers that blossom in Spring. They are by far my Favorite flower in the world because of their peaceful glow and grace in Spring.

The Tiger Sparrow wings stand for the gracefulness of the Sakura flower that make some people think that the flower is a heavenly flower. The Mystical Flowers sand for the Sakura flower themselves. And the Floral Henna stands for the essence of spring itself.

My aeridini is based off of those sudden cold snaps that happen during spring.(those cold snaps killed all my lettuce plants D:)

The corruption and frost runes are there to represent the unperdicted ice appearing on a plant. The flower is a dull purple to represent how it is dying.

Red-Winged Blackbird Aeridini.

Sometimes around my house you think spring's never gonna come, until these guys show up.

I based mine off of the Spring Goddess, Ostara(Alt spelling: Eostre)! The holiday, Easter, gets it's name from her. She's rooted in Celtic paganisim and her colors are bright green, yellow, and purple. Some mythologies also associate her with searpant/snake energy. The flower is based loosely on Asiatic and Day lilies that are sping-blooming(late spring, may-june).

Day Into Night
The name really says it all, she is supposed to be the bright sunlight with the dark shadow of night stealing over her.

(edit) I didn't realize what I had posted before wasn't an Aeridini, sorry! I'd edited something I made earlier that was actually a Nephini, but the two species look similar to me.
