I have to ask, will the shading be altered? I think that is the biggest reason I have not liked the Aurs.. The new shading style on the nixis and vorpas are lovely and I was wondering if you were adding that to these as well? :) Elegant by the way, my compliments to the chef

Wow! They're so pretty! Can't wait to remake my Phoenix design. Although personally I think the male's legs look a little too thick and chunky, and the positioning of the toes on the male's left foot looks, strange to me somehow. Other than that I love them! Great work!

I LOVE the new lines.
Especially the hatchlings, they look so playful.
I only have a few things, when comparing them to the old art. I think the chests are a smidgeon too small/flat/thin/whatever. I feel like they should be a touch more muscular in the chest, much like their old counterparts are (flight muscles and all :) )
I also feel like the males wings should be a bit longer / wider wing span?
Aureleon is my favorite breed of those accessible to me currently. So I am VERY excited to see how they'll be revamped.
I ADORE the female's new pose, hovering somewhat. Her far wing seems to do an odd transition though? makes it look much flatter than I feel it should be (the 'arm fluff' area).
Necks are a tad odd, but I am sure they'll grow on me :)
Hatchlings are perfect!

I'm digging the swan vibe, but would like to add my vote to the female looks a little flat in the chest, maybe round her a bit? the male is a stud muffin :D and the babies are to cute :)

As many have said before, I enjoy the dynamicness of these poses, the lines are so flowing, it's lovely.
I feel like that's where the problem comes in for me, because the style overall seems so loose, the necks are also very loose. And the necks seeming so loose makes them look very off to me. When I think of birds with long necks, I certainly think curved and and elegant. I don't think of them as stiff either, but I don't think of them as...Well these necks seem like they'd just flop over to me. They seem too loose, too rubbery even. Too bent and bendy and dynamically posed to make it seem like it would support itself.
Besides that my only other concern is the feathery crest. I feel like the hatchlings have a much better integration of the crest than the adults do, and that the male has it better than the female. To me the old Aurleon's crest seemed to just sit on the head, and didn't look natural. I was hoping the revamp would fix that issue, but at the moment the crest looks very similar, and very similarly do not appear to blend into the design. I think even simply removing the line between head feathers and crest feathers would help.
Besides that I really like most everything about this revamp. Much more detailed, dynamic, and fluid. Happy with this continued trend to high quality art.
The only other comments that are more personal taste than any kind of fault in this design (fault in my opinion, of course) is that I'd like to see the beak be a little more prominent along with the eyes on the adults. I feel like the chicks have the better look to that and that the adults could be a little closer. :)
Overall though, really loving this!

Yay they look pretty again :D
I was one of (the few I guess) the fans of the original look and was rather sad when it changed to the current look. The new look keeps the lovely dynamics while loosing the creep factor that the current look has always had for me. I emptied a stable of Aurleons in the original update because they just scared me. The only one I kept was the one my roomate designed for me that looks like on of their OCs.
So thank you for making these pretty birds pretty again :D

They looks so great! I don't think I'll be collecting them but it will be nice to see these in the zone to match all the other pretty arts. :)

The adults-
>I think I know why the back leg on the male looks off. It looks like it's longer than the leg on the front and it looks like it could either be facing towards us or away from us (It's hard to tell which).
>I personally think the long feathers on the females head look a little too puffy in relation to the males.
>I'd like the eyes to be a bit bigger, because even now the eye color almost doesn't matter unless it's over the top vibrant.
>The heads are a bit too sleek, and without the feathers they would blend in with the rest of the neck.
>They do look a bit skinny, but I think that's mostly because of how the neck connects to the body. It doesn't really flow into the chest very well.
>I wouldn't mind them being reserved, because a lot of the other species are happy already, but they look so sad!
The hatchlings-
>Again, it looks like the neck isn't flowing well into the body.
>The female has more ruffled feathers on her body than the male, and her wings are shorter.
>The males long head feathers look more like moth feelers.
Over all I really like these new ones over the ones we have now even with these minor oddities. They look much more fierce and graceful. I can't wait to see how the shading comes in! It'll be amazing! ^-^ Thank you guys so much for taking the time to do this. Criticism aside, it is highly appreciated.

I adore them, I love the female from the base of her wing down but something about from the base of the wing up is off i just dont know what.
And the baby female i just seems so disproportioned xD Super cute but i just feel like the sizing needs to be redone? or maybe just the neck position?

They look like Phoenixs now! I can't wait, this will make Alum look even more like a firebird!
