Ah, what a dark song. So fitting too, having a very bad family day... *sigh* Fitting song for a fitting day.

Anyways, I put as much meaning into this one as I could. I picked zolnixi because they're one of the most popular 'pretty' pets. Their lives must be great and perfect. I liked using opposing traits, like "Regal Markings" and "Witch Doctor." I wanted the red for the witch doctor trait to stand out, but also be somewhat concealed. Like, if you look hard enough, you'd see it. The skeletal quality and the markings on the wrists are a dark compliment. Then all of the mutations are to sparkle, beautify, and mask what's real. Ideally, they are the things other zolnixi see and become envious, and the complimentary green color lends itself the the jealousy of these things.

I went with the Puffadore because they're so cute and they just seem 'perfect' in so many ways. I Had a few dark colors in there that complimented the main color scheme so that it represents that there is a dark history behind the bright colors, but many over-look it, as everything else is so pretty. I also went with the Masquerade Mask to show some sense of something being hidden as well.
