Actually, to add onto that, unless you want to catch random wild Sylesties, there is no point in buying Green Traps. All of the Themed Pets are blue star or higher, which means that you will need at least a blue trap to try and catch them.

Hi Bunnypowers, you post your design entries in the Official Games and Contests forum on the "Spring Festival 2016 - Zone Themed" thread, which is here--
https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=35948
Remember that your designs should be color palettes. In other words, the idea is to come up with a color combination that works well with as many different traits and trait combinations as possible.
If you look at the first couple of entries on the "Spring Festival 2016 - Zone Themed" thread, you'll see that the players are demonstrating how well their color palette designs look by showing several different trait combinations for each species.
Here is the official announcement thread for the Spring Festival of 2016!
Start Time: Friday, May 20th at 12:00 PM
End Time: Sunday, June 12th at 11:59 PM
The Spring Festival is when all Sylestians celebrate the end of the cold winter and the start of new growth - both figuratively and literally! Take time to enjoy the outdoors and enjoy everything the beautiful world has to offer as it begins a new cycle for the next few seasons!
The Spring Festival also marks the return of the Aeridini! Throughout the Spring Festival, these elusive pollinators can be found throughout the Festival Zone. So be sure to catch as many as you can before they return to their nesting grounds for the remainder of the year!
Diamond Sale Now Through May 30th
New Genes and Mutations Released
We have released 1 Gene and 3 Mutations for each of the following eight species: Aeridini, Aurleon, Luffox, Morkko, Kelpari, Sylvorpa, Vulnyx, and Zolnixi! As a special addition to the Spring Festival, these new Traits are restricted and can only be obtained by growing the species' 8 Majestic Themed Pets in your Garden!
The Majestic Seeds to grow these Themed Pets can be found from Seed Pouches purchased in the Diamond Shop or very rarely from other Seed Pouches and from the Contest Reward Pouches. Additionally, you can obtain Eggling versions of these Themed Pets directly from the Maze of Amazements.
Festival Exploration Zone https://www.sylestia.com/explore/newzone/?zone=esiorsfieldsspringfestival
This zone is recommended for players using pets of Level 10 and above!
This year's Festival Exploration Zone has a lot stuffed into it. We have released 16 brand new Themed Pets that can only be found while exploring the Spring Festival Zone. The Festival Zone also has a whopping 134 brand new Avatar Items available from it. The majority of these drops can be obtained by battling 3 Static Named. There is also a named that can be found inside the Egg Hunt and an avatar set can be obtained from the Majestic Maze of Amazements.
The Egg Hunt feature has returned! The Egg Hunt is similar to last year's Egg Hunt. Everyone can participate in an Egg Hunt for free once every 4 hours by simply talking to May Flowers near the entrance to the Zone. Once you begin, you will have 360 steps to find as many prizes as you can! Prizes include Gold, Garden Supplies, an unique Named, and Easter Eggs. Additionally, you can also find Themed Pets while in the Egg Hunt! For expert hunters, if you find at least 15 Eggs and 2 Secret Room Prizes, you will receive the Title: Master Egg Hunter.
Lastly, there is the Majestic Maze of Amazements. You can access this feature by talking to Justinia Aurorelius near the entrance of the Zone. This feature is discussed in more detail down below.
The Sylesti Garden is back! All players will have access to two Planting Pots at all times. You can purchase additional one-time Planting Pots if needed up to a maximum of 30 Pots at one time. Once you have a Planting Pot available, interact with it to fill it with Dirt for a small amount of Gold. Once filled with Dirt, you can plant one of the 29 Seeds available this festival. Seeds can be found by battling enemies in the Festival Zone, opening Treasure Chests and Prizes in the Festival Zone, or by purchasing Seed Pouches from the Diamond Shop or Festival Shop. They can also be found from Contest Reward Pouches.
Once you've planted a Seed, you can now watch it grow! Frequently, your growing Flower will require nurturing, such as being Parched, Wilted, or Overgrown. You can cure these ailments by using Enrichments on it. Enrichments include: Enriched Water, Sun's Glow, and Weed-B-Gone. Every time that your Flower is Enriched, it grows 1 Hour faster. Through the course of its growing time, you will have the opportunity to decrease its growth time considerably! So be sure to Tend your Flowers as much as possible! Enrichments can be obtained from the same methods as Seed Pouches.
In addition to Enrichments, you can also give Fertilizer to your Flowers. Adding Fertilizer will increase the amount of Traits that your Flower Pet will hatch with. There are 3 types of Fertilizer: Lesser Fertilizer (1-Visible*), Greater Fertilizer (2-Visible*), and Exceptional Fertilizer (3-Visible*). Fertilizer can be obtained through the same methods as the other Garden Supplies. Lastly, if you have excess Lesser Fertilizer or Greater Fertilizer, you can combine a bulk amount of them and upgrade them to the next level.
* = This applies to the Regular and Fabled Seeds only. Majestic Seeds use the following system: Lesser Fertilizer (2-Carry), Greater Fertilizer (1-Visible), and Exceptional Fertilizer (2-Visible)
As an added bonus to this feature, you are also able to Tend other player's Flower Pets! Simply visit their Garden and Tend their Flowers as you would your own. They will be notified of your caring gesture and may even return the favor!
There are a total of 29 Flower Pets available: 8 Majestic Themed Pets, 7 Fabled Themed Pets, and 14 Regular Themed Pets.
There are also 5 Titles available from the Sylesti Garden! They are as follows:
The Tender: Tend other player's Flowers at least 20 times.
Green Thumb: Harvest at least 1 of every Regular Flower Pet.
Fabled Green Thumb: Harvest at least 1 of every Fabled Flower Pet.
Majestic Green Thumb: Harvest at least 1 Majestic Flower Pet.
Omniscient Gardener: Harvest at least 1 of all 29 Flower Pets.
Spring Contests https://www.sylestia.com/festival/festival_spring/sylesti_contests/
Throughout the duration of the Festival, there will be a total of 147 Contests running! There are 3 types of Contests: Enemies Defeated, Pets Nurtured, and Pets Released. The 1st Place winner of each Contest will receive a 3-Visible Flower Pet of that Species. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Place finishers of each Contest will receive a 2-Visible Flower Pet of that Species. All top 10 winners will receive a Contest Leaderboard Pouch which can contain some of the Festival's best items!
Enemies Defeated Contest: In order to earn points for this Contest, you must defeat enemies inside the Festival Zone with pets of that Species. Having multiple Pets of the same Species counts as multiple points. Additionally, having various Pets in your Party counts for each of their respective Contests.
Pets Nurtured: In order to earn points for this Contest, you must nurture Pets of that Species. There are no other restrictions.
Pets Released: In order to earn points for this Contest, you must release Pets of that Species. The only restriction is that the Pet must have been created before May 20th at 12:00pm Sylestia time.
Lastly, all players can earn [Contest Reward Pouches] by earning so many points per Contest. There is no limit to the amount of pouches a player can earn. So the more you participate, the more that you'll receive! Reward pouches can contain Majestic Maze of Amazement Tickets, Premium Seed Pouches, Regular Seed Pouches, Planting Pots, Premium Fertilizer Bags, Regular Fertilizer Bags, Large Basket of Enrichments, Small Basket of Enrichments, or Gold.

Majestic Maze of Amazements https://www.sylestia.com/explore/newzone/?zone=esiorsfieldsspringfestival
The Majestic Maze of Amazements is this Festival's premium feature. It is accessible by talking to Justinia Aurorelius in the Festival Zone. She is located in the fenced in area near the start of the Zone.
Entering the Majestic Maze requires one [Majestic Maze of Amazements Ticket]. Tickets can be purchased from the Diamond Shop for Diamonds, the Festival Shop for Easter Eggs, or from April Showers in the Festival Zone for Gold.
Once inside the Majestic Maze, you will have the option of taking one of two paths. One path, the Path of Dreams, is a risk taking path where the rewards can be significantly higher, but less prizes are guaranteed. Whereas the other path, the Path of Destiny, is a much more stable path but the top prizes are rarer.
Path of Dreams: Contains a total of *6* Prize Rooms. As you pass through each room, the Prizes become of better quality. Starting at the 2nd Prize Room, you have a chance to find [Philters of Trait Disruption] and [Perfumes of Themed Attraction]. The 5th Prize Room is guaranteed to contain a Boss with unique Exclusive Avatar Items. The 6th Prize Room is guaranteed to contain either a Majestic Exclusive Flower Themed Pet or a Fabled Exclusive Flower Themed Pet. However, after the 2nd Prize Room, you have a chance to not make it on to the next Prize Room.
*The chances of reaching Prize Room #5 and Prize Room #6 are about double that of the Path of Destiny.
Path of Destiny: Contains a total of *3* Prize Rooms. As you pass through each room, the Prizes become of better quality. Starting at the 2nd Prize Room, you have a chance to find [Philters of Trait Disruption] and [Perfumes of Themed Attraction]. The 3rd Prize Room can contain either a Majestic Exclusive Flower Themed Pet or a Fabled Exclusive Flower Themed Pet, a Boss with unique Exclusive Avatar Items, or Premium Items.
*The chances of finding the Exclusive Flower Pet and Boss is about half that of the Path of Dreams.

Whoopsies I miscalculated this morning.
I am contemplating either staying up until or waking up at 3:00 am when festivities begin. Either way, I will be there for festival start :P
