Ha ha ha, oh man, I was just checking out all the new avatar items in the wardrobe, and am pretty entertained. Because of the default hand position of the avatar bases, the writer's quill becomes a very funny held item. It looks less like our avatars are going to write something, and more like they're going to violently stab their way to revolution with feathered quills! Example:

"I'll Brexit you!"

For the avatar items, is there any chance of being able to buy items individually? I know that was the case for monthly items in the month that they were released, and would love if it could happen here. I usually prefer that for the most part, personally.

Since there are a lot of individual items, we felt it would be too many to individually price.

I think they are broken down pretty well and if you only want a specific item from a set, you could either buy the set and sell the pieces you don't want or purchase individual pieces from others who bought the set.

@Krinadon,
What you say sounds reasonable at first glance, but it doesn't really work so easily in actuality for me. Perhaps it's my particular case, but atm I pretty much want only 1 of the items in each of several different sets. >_< For reference, these are the items where I don't want any of the other items in their set: Victorian Wig, Colonial Wig, Colonial Attire, Writer's Quill Classic.

In particular, it's a bit unfortunate that the re-color Victorian Wig & Colonial Wig have to be bought with non-recolorables given that usually there is a way to get recolors separately from the non-recolors. D:

At the very least, could those be bought separately (together)? Or better yet, a set of the recolor wigs with the recolor outfit. As not sure why only the hat-versions go with the outfit at the moment? o.o

----
But anyway, thinking more, other than that, I think I'd be content with buying the sets of the other ones, as they don't have those non-recolor non-held items which I avoid like the plague. ahaha ^^''

The original Patriotic Themed pets can now have their colors updated to the new variations.

In order to do this, visit their profile page and click the "Update Themed Colors" button.

Please note, doing this IRREVERSIBLE! Once you use this feature on a pet, it cannot go back to the way it was. It is a permanent update.

This feature also can only be done once per pet. So it is a one-time, permanent update to the new color scheme.

And again, this is entirely optional. If you do not want to use this feature, then you can just simply keep your pet the way it originally was.

Please let me know if anyone encounters any issues with this feature. Thanks!

Faiona and I were out of town when the artwork was being finished for this event so we couldn't really micro-manage the sets being created. As such, some of the pieces ended up using different color schemes than the rest - which is fine and relatively normal. However, in this specific instance, it made it slightly difficult to put everything together as part of a larger set. Thus, it was broken up into kinda individual sets.

So that's why there are 5 sets of the outfit + 2 hats (separated by color theme) and then the rest is separated by piece.

We will see about what we can add as individual purchases, but it would be limited because we do not want to add dozens of individual pieces to the shop.

Weird! But cool. :o

Will the button eventually go away on my other two older Patriotics, or will they stay forever?
