I was too greedy to use my essences, so this project is started exactly like my first one, by breeding my cats with random ones who have the traits I need - therefore it's absolutely messy from the very beginning :D
but I'm sure I will succeed...

The Tanuki trait is tricky for me personally, I have a tendency to make it darker so the other colors pop - but if you'd rather have a design where it's lighter, do let me know and I'll try a few! I tried to pull some inspiration from various themes and pictures: a volcano, forests, underwater, and magic. But in the first go here is what I came up with. (:

the main problem with this design is that you almost never can change a color affecting one trait without affecting the others.
besides their own color, Marbled uses C3;
Tanuki uses C2;
Ethereal Runes use EC;
Ethereal Wings use EC and G3;
Ethereal Armor uses C3, G3 and EC;
Ethereal Horns use C3, G3 and EC.
so it's FOUR colors for M2 and M3.
by the way, the only really visible thing left of Marbled is eyebrows and some markings on the tail ;_;}

Feel free to post them wherever you'd like c: It's your project after all. :P And that's a lot more hard work than designs ahaha. Sorry to bombard you with so many. This one had potential to go a lot of different ways, as soon as I finished one I was like - but what if I took it this way? I just hope you find one you really enjoy! The colors did take some figuring out. I tend to remove all mutations, do base and gene colors, and then add accents through mutations. I'm glad it comes through for you on the tail though at the least - an all recessive trait project has to be taxing so it's good to see it somewhere. ^^ Don't feel like you need to pay me in any way - it's really a pleasure to be able to help out! c: I'd love to purchase one from you when it's finished if you decide to sell some though! c:
