my suggeston is to make this fit on a screen right now I have to scroll down click my piece, scroll back up to place it, back down to click confirm. many steps are wasting my setup time.

I am enjoying this game however.

Something that may help this problem is to hold "ctrl" and press "-" (minus sign) a couple of times to reduce the page size. The "+" (plus sign) will enlarge the page.

On Macs, instead of "ctrl" just use the Mac key.

This will apply to all pages but you can just bump it back to whatever size when you are done. Some of Sylestia's pages don't fit well for me so I tend to do this often.

I'm sorry, yea, I definitely think I have a solution to that.

I will try to get it coded in today.

So far I have added the following to Snow Wars:

List of Improvements Added
-Added a forfeit button so that you can submit defeat to your Opponent.
-Added a Game Log that summarizes what happens each Turn.
-Added Leaderboards for Player AI Rating and Player Ranked Rating.

For the Leaderboards, a few notes. First, there are no prizes listed. They are still to be determined. But we obviously will make sure to make them nice, prestigious prizes so please don't let the lack of announcing deter you from trying to place. =P

Also, for Leaderboards, there will probably also be two iterations with the first maybe ending this weekend sometime. More information will be provided as I know, but just be prepared for that.

I'm not too happy with how the player rating system is working and I want to tweak it. However, I feel like that's unfair to tweak how the entire system works for those who've already managed to make it near the top thus far. Additionally, for the AI Ratings, there still is only one difficulty of AI. So I will probably end up doing the changes I want to the core of the game and then when I'm ready to alter the rating calculations, I'll end the Leaderboard Contests, wipe them, and then everyone will start over from 0.


TLDR: Above changes are already active. There will be two sets of Leaderboard 'contests'. Some more mechanical changes will still be coming to Snow Wars tonight and over the next few days. Sometime this week(end) the first Contest will end, Prizes (TBD) will be awarded, and Ratings reset.

Contest #2 will begin with new AI Difficulty Tiers and new Rating Calculations.

Lol, atm, I feel really bad when I play and beat others. =(

I don't like how people use like Boosts and lose Rating because I beat them lol~ So at some point when I get a chance, I'm going to code it so that if you lose to me you won't get a loss and you won't lose rating and you'll get something neat in return for playing against me. =P

Then I'll probably do a lot more games.

I think players should be penalized for just letting their time on their turn run out instead of skipping their turn.

Aw you don't have to feel bad! That's part of the game, after all XD
