Well, it makes some sense to me...their leading up to the Mega zone, which requires having finished all the Quests for the Vale. So encouraging people to further their storyline so they can eventually access the new stuff when it comes out is good? >.>

Just curious if changing zones affects your count or anything? I don't wanna zone hop back and forth if it's going to reset...

That's a relief! Earlier, the pink one steamrolled my party with a ton of lucky crits and spamming her Attack All move! I mean, that was horrid luck as I'd defeated her two other times with the same party. But this reduces the cushion for my legendary horrible LCK stat...

I'm getting close! I haven't quite got to the third zone but I think it's just one last boss fight (that i'm stuck on). Yay, Krin! Thank you for all the hard work you've done!
