Oh dear. I hope there will be a walk through tutorial for this soon. I couldn't wrap my brain around the last battle system and had to have smarter people than I, (thank you hund and savy) walk me through on how to specifically set my battle teams up.

Seems a little confusing, but hey, we'll learn as we move along!
-gasps- it tells us the roles in battles and what they do and oh my stars this actually somehow makes sense! this is so cool-looking!

I think I've already figured out what my general setup will be for my Level 60 pets...comparing their stats for how I've set them up now to how they'll be with the new system (I looked at my two super tanks from last Halloween, stat boosted and hatched with Prismatic Philters, and a few Dex pets from my earliest team). Probably do a few of my teams to start to play and get used to them in combat, then try them out in the Mega Zone as my first pets to level, and once I'm sure things work I'll set the rest of the pets up.
Still keep changing up where my 65 Proficiency Point will go since I can't experiment with it yet.
Uh, the attacks say that they take 200 mana, but none of the pets i've even seen yet only have 150ish mana at most. How do these attacks work? Or is the gear you get in the zone really good?
It will be obtainable with gear from the MegaZone for all pets.
Will this new system and the new stats affect the succes of our missions?
Like now, if you have all points and proficiancies on intelligence, you get exceptional on intelligence missions. (provided your pet has the right level) Which results in more gold and 2 mission satchels.
but with this new system, it seems there are lesser proficiancies, and because you can't go to other elements you can't stack on that one thing you need for the missions. Like intelligence pets have no need for more health or strenght when they are only going on intelligence missions.
So because you have less freedom to spend the points as you see fit, and just spend the points on all intelligence parts of the different elements, it will lower their overal stats on that particular area.
So that does make me a bit worried on the missions. Will these lower stats affect the missions? give you a bigger risk of failing them and such?
Yes, it will affect Missions since Missions rely on pets' Stats.
The difference will more than be made up once the cap is raised to Level 75 and pets start obtaining MegaZone equipment.
...how do i pick the element ability? been clicking around but nothing happens?
Select an Element and then click the giant green button at the bottom.

So your pets only improve at certain levels?

One problem with the mission pets is it could be much more difficult for newer players who start off making gold via missions. I imagine things like missions will probably be very different once the site itself is revamped. Could there be some sort of temporary feature to help? I say that but I don't have any ideas myself of what could be done.
