"Eek! Emperess, go!" Sylver shouted, surprised at the sudden starly attack. After a few minutes of battling, they had defeated the enemy. "Good job, Emperess" Sylver praised her new Pokemon proudly. "I'm sure we can accomplish anything together!" Sylver said determinedly.

Ashley's eyes lit up. "Okay!" She chirped. She walked over to the Professor, then stared at each starter carefully. "I'll take Chimchar!" She said, grabbing the Pokemon and taking the open Pokeball too. Gradient smiled slightly.

"I guess I'll go next." He said, striding up to the Professor. He looked over each Pokemon carefully, before smoothly grabbing Piplup's Pokeball. "I'll take Piplup." He said, smiling at his new Pokemon. "It's nice to meet you, Piplup." He said gently, before turning to Newt. "Newt, go on!" Gradient smiled at Newt, and this time, it wasn't one of those fake, polite ones. Gradient was finally free of his parent's eyes; He didn't have to be all that perfect anymore.

Just the thought gave Gradient a thrill.

Newt picked up the other Poke ball holding it delicately in his hand before putting it away and throwing a hand up politely " Thank you Sir, I am certain this new companion will prove most helpful" He said before catching up with the others Copper on his heals prancing behind him

"Okay, Emperess, Luxie, let's take an break." Sylver said, sitting on the ground next to her Pokemon. Sylver had already another Pokemon for her team, and couldn't wait to see what other Pokemon she could befriend and add to her team.

"Eevee, what the heck!" Gradient exclaimed as Eevee bounded after Newt. "Are you already infatuated with him?" He asked, rolling his eyes, but nevertheless chasing after his Pokemon.

Ashley spotted Newt and Gradient headed for the same direction, and frowned. "Hey, wait up!" She said, waving her hand and running.

(Having Eevee follow Newt around like a dog seems to be a good way to torture Gradinet~ And Ashley just doesn't wanna be left behind XD)

'' Yes, thanks, i also have a letter from Snowpoint City's gym leader for him !'' She retrive her snowrunt but decide to let Sunny stay out for a bit '' Ok Sunny, you can enjoy the warm weather for a bit but wait for me before exploring alright ? Newt paused turning around to see Gradient's Eevee " Hello little one..." he said knelling down with a kind smile, Copper at his side. " Seems like you can be quite troublesome.." Newt said still being kind. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a small treat " here Try it my little sister made them" he said proudly thinking of the little girl he had left back on Alola with the Pink ribbon in her hair. after letting the Eevee have the first piece he gave a jealous Copper one as well.

Korra walked out of the Pokemon Center, Buizel following close behind her. She walked out to the nearest route, checking her bag to see how many pokeballs she had. 4 pokeballs, 6 greatballs and 2 ultras. She looked forwards, seeing someone with white hair.

Gradient and Ashley skidded to a stop near Newt, both breathing hard. "Sorry, Newt." Gradient said, picking up his Eevee. "Eevee seems to be infatuated with you." He added. "I don't know why, this hasn't ever happened before." Gradient said, rubbing his cheek in Eevee's fluffy coat.

Ashley smiled wide, blue eyes sparkling. "My Dratini seems to have taken a liking to your Eevee, Gradient." She told him. "I don't know why either." She added.

The assistant invited her into the lab, showing her three Pokmon in their balls. "You can pick any one of them that you like" he told her, opening the glass contained the pokeballs.
