Looking at the time, I wonder if it could be my "3rd: 299" that would have been the one maxed out. Krin made the post at 7:03PM. My last time I updated my post was at 10:50PM. I had only nine battles between my third pyro and fourth pyro so my third pyro battle took place only minutes before the fourth one.

July 3rd - 11:20pm - 309 battles
July 4th 12:20am - 75 battles
July4th - 96 battles
July 8th - 10:37pm - 230 battles

I'll add my numbers, too :)
The first came after about 200 battles and then I just couldn't find a second. Only started counting after a whole day of battling and still needed 620 battles then to find the second one. So it must have been near to 1000 battles from the first to the second. But that was before the chance for encounters was changed. Here is the data for the encounters after the change:
5th pyro at just after 4 battles o.O Still no egg T-T
6th pyro at 76 battles
7th pyro at 507 battles
8th pyro at 69 battles. Still waiting for an egg ><
9th pyro at 206 battles
10th pyro at 36 battles. An egg! Finally!

As I'm still very new I'd like to know if this extremely low drop rate is usual for themed pets? I found 11 pyros by now and got only one egg. It gets quite frustrating given the fact that you have to battle averagely 150 times to get a pyro at all. So for one egg I've now battled ~2300 times and 5 days. That's quite some low drop rate.
