A pureblood, then? Interesting, I wasn't aware that there were many around these days. I nodded, watching as she flashed her vibrantly-coloured hair and continued talking for a little longer.

"My family has a variety of different types, some of us better at magic than others," I explained. "I'm a Soinau, but... not particularly good at using my powers, unfortunately." I chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the side of my head with my hand. "Neither are they really that impressive, at this stage."

Laurel laughed. "Well, Piper, you remind of my friend from school. Always acting like a little girl- in a good way, I mean."

Piper grinned and looked out the window, before getting her phone out. "Okay, I need I picture of this. We're totally gonna all become good friends! I can see it!" She surveyed the group before yelling to Rhys. "Hey! Rhys, could ya do us a favor?" She gave him a good natured smile.

Erin Healy finally got on the plane. For some unknown reason, the crew had no idea how to load her instruments.
Her ticket put her to the back left of the plane. A few other kids had already arrived. Hope I'm not last to board.

"Ah hello there, my name's Erin- Erin Healy. You'd think that the crew's never seen a hurdy-gurdy or Uilleann pipes. I had to help 'em keep the instruments together," I said as I sat next to a girl with wavy, black hair an' blue eyes.

Piper turned, her phone in her hand. "Oh, hey Erin. I'm Piper. The pretty brunette is Laurel, The cool girl with the mask is Sylver, and the boy is Rick. And your instruments sound awesome, but yeah, I would see why someone here wouldn't know what they are."

"Thanks! Pleasure to meet all of ya," Erin replied to Piper with her accent showing in full.
"Do ya have any siblings Piper? I have three brothers, two young an' one old."

I saw the new girl come over and introduce herself. I smiled slightly.

"Hi Erin." I wasn't really sure what else to say, so I clasped my hands together and twiddled my fingers. Being someone who knew almost nothing about music, I was unable to comment on the instruments that she told us about. Honestly, I wasn't really that engaged in the conversations - not that I was bored because of the people, but because my unwillingness to be open around these people was holding me back from saying and doing all that I wanted to do.

I hope I can get to know them better, even if I am making things difficult for them to talk to me. I just need time, probably, that's all.

"No siblings. Just a family of light mages." She smiled. "Erin, I'm inferring you're in Soinau? Musical talent."And you probably'll learn how to burst someone's eardrums just with one powerful shriek. she thought. "Rick's a Soinau too. And I'm an Argi."

Sylver tapped her foot, waiting for the plane to take off impatiently. ".-- .... . -./ .- .-. ./ .-- ./ .-.. . .- ...- .. -. --.?" Sylver aksed.
