"You're bleeding..." Blue said. She shifted back to the form she was in before and grabbed Elissa by the wrist. She ran back to her burrow with the girl in tow. When Blue reached the burrow, she ran in and came back out with a cloth. "Here!" She said and handed her the cloth.

Elissa laughed. "Thanks, but it's just a small cut," Elissa said, accepting the cloth and wiping her face with it. She leaned closer to Blue and lowered her voice, "Don't tell anyone, but that was actually one of my better landings."

"Yeah." He got up abruptly, offering her a hand. "Come on, let's go see what it is."

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me!" Blue laughed. "I don't have anyone to tell anyways! Want something to eat? I have more food then I need right now!" She said.

Elissa looked up at the sky hidden behind the branches of the trees. It made feel a bit uneasy. She shook off the feeling and turned back to Blue. "Are you sure it's no trouble? You've been way too kind already," she said, shifting her wings.

I nod, and, taking his hand, stand up. We walk down into the woods, ears twitching to hear any noise possibly made by another half breed.

I stopped, standing still when I see two figures talking nearby. "Look," I say, nudging Maya.

"I haven't been able to talk to anyone in a long time, if you stay, you'd be doing me a favor!" Blue said.

I walk cautiously up to the two half breeds. One has rabbit ears and a fluffy tail, and the other has huge wings and a bird tail, all white. The one with wings has a shallow cut on its face.

Elissa swore she heard some movement behind her. Now she really wished there was nothing between her and the sky. She turned her head just enough to look behind her. She was just able to make out two figures. She whirled around, snapping her wings open to shield Blue from the view of the other two. "Who's there?" she called.
