1. Have you been a victim of design theft? yep
2. Have you participated in design theft? nope (not that i'm aware of, at least. i hope i haven't inadvertently made something similar to someone else's design.. i doubt i have, but you never know. i always make sure to create all my designs from scratch so accidents like those don't happen.)
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? yep
4. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? nope, not yet at least
5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? i find it more annoying than anything else

5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft?
It should never be done and is similar to art theft which I also look down upon

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? No (as far as I know)
2. Have you participated in design theft? No
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? No
4. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? No
5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? You should always ask before using someones design, and credit them if/when you do use it. It's so easy, and most people will say 'yes'. I don't get why people just can't do that.

1st--is there a ping list?
2nd--another kind of theft:
Without asking, taking someone's design and using it for a project or regen.

I have a member list in my 3rd post on the 1st page, if that's what you mean. And thanks for the idea, though I believe it sort of goes with the second (and last) level of design theft I have listed in the 5th post.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? Not that I know of
2. Have you participated in design theft? No (I create my designs from my own imagination [which is usually super bad] and I only check the generator saved designs to view friends designs, and if I did create something similar to someone else's I promise you I did not mean to I promise on every standard I ever knew [I was raised with strict rules of stealing like super strict])
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? nope
4. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? No
5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? I feel bad for people who have experienced it. I mean most of the time whenever I generate something, it takes me hours to make something I like. So if someone stole it, I would be super mad. I also think maybe they should add something so people who are new can understand that the generator isn't so everyone can use the designs.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft?
No, at least I hope so.
2. Have you participated in design theft?
No. I may do a similar design to someone, though, because I mean, some colors look undeniably good together, but I have never done so on purpose. Mostly I delete my designs if one person has posted a very similar design before me.
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft?
No.
4. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)?
If I have not seen it, then I guess I can't do anything :P
5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft?
It's terrible! Some people work lots of effort into making designs, and if someone stole all that hard work from you without your consent, all that hard work would be wasted. It's like plagiarism, and stealing is not good for you and the community.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? Not yet, due to removal of my non-crap designs from the public generator.
2. Have you participated in design theft? Nope.
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? Yes (quite a few in the last day, actually)
4. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? Yes, alerted the designer, but nothing else could be done.
5. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? It shows laziness and dishonesty if the person is a repeated offender and a lack of maturity as well. It causes the thieves to gain money and stuff dishonestly, which is not good, obviously. It's far too common, for example, I've seen people enter color schemes of the most popular designs in and then claim that the identical hex codes are 'coincidence', as well as others overpricing/underpricing of someone's designs that were already made and being sold, like you've mentioned. Also equally frustrating is when you realize you bought a stolen design and then and then make...interesting faces at your own stupidity....
