Physical Description
Here the trees obscure much of the sky and the constant hum of insects fill your ears. The few beams of light that do reach the forest floor reveal a dirt, and leaf ridden floor. Many tree roots and vines jut out ready to trip you at every step. You could hear the sloshing and gurgling of a large river nearby. You think you see something move around the tall trees, or perhaps you hear a rustling under the fallen tree that vlocks your path. You can't see to far ahead without there being a tree in your way.

Religion
They believe that the twelve olympians sit on their thrones above and control the world and it's fate. Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, Dionysus, Hermes, Hephastus, Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, and Athena. Once they die they believe they'll go down to Hades, they're soul will be judged and they'll either go to Elysium, the Fields of Asphodel, or the fields of Punishment. They believe that the gods brought on the darkness to get rid of those that no longer deserved to live, They are the lucky survivors and have the gods blessings. They believe that they must learn from their mistakes or the Gods will once more bring back the darkness and end them all.

Village

Oracle
They are the most respected and their word should be heeded, as they speak to the gods/ use magic to see the future. They will oversee rituals and advise the Oligarchies on how to act on certain things. They are also the healers in the community they know all about the healing herbs. Oracles are also the Hearth Keepers. They are always at the Hearth and keep it going. They welcome newcomers and offer them food or shelter or anything else they may need. None are allowed to hurt the Oracle.


Oligarchies
They are the leaders normally it is a group of 2-3, they make the final ruling and make sure that everything is done equally. it is majority rules for the things they pass.


Laborers
They take care of preparing the food, making clothing, collecting herbs and spices, as well as collecting water and materials/building. they are not slaves but serve the community, they get a share of everything they collect and are treated fairly. When they get too old to work, the retire and younger laborers take care of them.


Heroes
They protect the village from danger, and do all the hunting. They are also the ones who go out and explore in search of any portals, or new and interesting/useful areas on the worlds. They also use Magic/magic items and sword/weapons when exploring or defending the village.
If a heroe lives ling enough to retire they may even train younger heroes.
