I've got a relatively nice gene pool for my the NG bulbs, and I was thinking of some trait designs to isolate and work on later ^^

Current Gene Pool:
G1: Spots (A), Skeletal (F), Broken (cG), Fur Blotches (cI),
G2: Iridescent Gems (A), Rainbow Gems (B, cB), Sunset Gems (C, cC), Nightfall Gems (cD)
G3: Advanced Runes (A), Quagga (cD), Diamond Dust (G)
M1: Tail Wisp (A), Pixie Dust (cB, B), Fox Tail (cC)
M2: Butterfly Wings (A), Chibi Wings (B), Petal Wings (cC), Jeweled Feathered Wings (cD)
M3: Ornate Armour (A), Ribbon Dancer (B), Enchanting Flowers (C) Lovely Hearts (cD, cD)

(Genes with c infront are carried, some have carried and visible carriers)

I've come up with things like this:



My friend suggested it was a bit too blue, so I might utilize the sunset or rainbow gems for a pop of colour?



Any opinions or other alternate designs, I'd love to know ^^

Hello, are you looking for bulb seeds? I have a few extra from overcollecting for my bulb project ^^
I have both the new and old bulbs spare if you want them :)

@SkyRaven, wow, that's quite the Trait collection you have there! :o Mighty impressive! Personally, I love the top Designs. I have always found forced colours in Traits to be highly limiting and don't match most Themes colours. Rainbow Traits are somewhat less limiting since the spectrum should contain at least 1 or 2 colours that might go well with the Theme, but still a little limiting if that's not the way you want to go. Specifically for the Bulbori, I feel that Iridescent Gems is really the only option for that slot unless you build the rest of the Design around one of the other Traits. But that's just my personal opinion. ^D^

I'm not currently looking as I still got some seeds of each that I could still make but thank you for asking.

There is no such thing as too much blue blue is pretty I like blue X3

Thank you, it's comprised of 8 bulbs with a lot of bondings and splicers in there ^^
Not quite sure which designs to go for yet, but I'm aiming to breed a 6vis first before I start breeding out specific genes I want, just to say I've got a 6vis :P

I am a big fan of broken too, maybe something like this?

I think they look nice with any of the gems! ^^

From personal experience, doing a 6-vis project with exact traits (what I tend to do), takes a loong time! My first bulb project (here) took more than a year...

Mixing traits to get any 6-vis is much faster, but the end result is a bit of a surprise! Mixing the two (a couple of my favorite traits plus random for the rest), like I did with my Aeri project, is still pretty fast, but isnt completely random. In the future, I'll probably do that for my projects...

That makes sense. ^_^ I would think it would be faster (and easier) too. ^_^
I'm a big fan of Broken too. :D I was just admiring it and thinking about how much I like it when I was looking at your Designs. xD I like these ones quite a bit; they have a lot of my favourite Bulbori Traits. ^_^
(I also am a big fan of purples and blues. xD )
