She made her way down the mast and onto the deck,they'd docked and some weird girl was swimming in the water.Wasn't a mermaid since they don't exist,at least not this close to civilization anyways.She glanced at the other crew-members that'd made it thru the fight...stupid navy and their stupid Powderholes she thought to herself.She looked to their captain...Captain Maxine Nevermore.The last name made her always think of Neverland.A book she'd read when she was younger,about a boy stealing children away from reality.Her captain liver up to the name of Nevermore.She glanced at Defiance then at Falkan...she'd never liked that thing that the quatermaster kept around.She didn't think it liked her back.

Pigwidgeon was up in the crows nest, so far up the wind almost scrapped the soot and ash off her clean, but she still was little more than a small black smudge against the midnight indigo blue sky. She had been hiding from the remaining crew all day, which wasnt like her, but after the bloody battle, the battle she hadnt even fought in, she couldnt look into their faces. The loss of almost everyone haunted her, and though she tried to smudge them away, tear tracks had cleaned her sooty freckled cheeks. This ship, this crew was her family. Her only family. And she hated being helpless to fight for them, to hear them die, to burry them, and never see them again. As they docked though she saw the cluster of new potential crew mates for the Nights Revenge. They would never take the places of those lost. But she figured she had better climb down, try to give her Captain support. Anyway, maybe she would still have those empty holes for those gone, but maybe she could make new places for new family.
So she swung down from the Crows nest, nimbly swinging down the ropes, till her feet touched the deck. She smudged up her cheeks again, not wanted to show she had been crying and mopping. She imagined how she would look to the new crew. Probably like a little hobgoblin. She smiled a bit at the thought, thinking she might try jumping out at a few to see if she could scare them.

Tracey glanced up at the figure on the deck. "Is this the Night, ship of the female pirates/" she called up. In the position she was in she ocuudln't see the name of the ship whatsoever. She treaded water, watching for a response.
