she smiles "well that was very kind," she trots off from him. she never liked black out that much, she liked her human better then most horses would.

"Well you're not a foal any more, though you do have the mindset of one." Rocket was trying to stir up a fight now, " And clearly you wouldn't really protect your own because instead of watching after the herd you're sassing me for protecting one of my herd mares." She nickered and went inside the stall of the mare, laying down against the wall to give her space. She'd decided she quite liked the human, but quietly chuffed angrily at the chief as he came into sight. Rocket had never liked the chief, believing he meddled too much with the herd of wild horses. In fact, despite the soft whinny of caution from the mare, Rocket moved into the stall gateway to block the chief from the mare, ready to move in an instant if the other human needed to get in but refusing to let the chief even approach.

"yes i'm getting tired of them too and so are the spirits the spirits are getting angry is hasn't rained in days and the crops are starting to welt"

"im just thankful for the stream near here or my poor apple tree would die," she smiled "the mare should birth in a few days so i may need some more supplies soon," she said cleaning off her plate.

blackout trouts off snorting "youngsters these days" he snorts at the humans and when the chief goes up to me i snort and bite at him he dodges it tho by falling back. blackout runs off back to his herd

luca caught him laughing "careful there, their still wild at heart," she said smiling. she helped him up.

she snorted shaking her head "to proud to let people help him," she looked over back that the mare "are you doing ok miss," she asked over the other horse.

"usually he lets me touch him i guess not today tho"

"its ok, he's probly mad at something." she said looking up at the sky "not a cloud," she said worried.

"maybe he is mad at the no rain too?"

Rocket didn't move from the gateway, keeping an eye on the chief. She did a double take as she saw blackout try to bite the chief, than nickered approvingly as she saw him run off towards the herd. "Serves him right, maybe now he'll see his herd is more important than that human."

Locket had finally managed to retrieve the apple from the tree and prepared to trot off when he saw blackout try to bite the chief. Feeling bad, he balked softly and trotted over to the chief, holding the apple he gotten from the tree out to him like an offering to say sorry.
