"g-guards ehehe well im um im allergic YEAH allergic to guards." she lied looking nervously around, she followed him looking him up and down then her coin bag think she had enough and the next tax carriage was going to pass threw soon anyways so she didn't need to take from him. A poster behind her had her face on it with a hefty reward on it with a dead or alive mark on it.

If he had recognized her from the poster, he didn't mention it, clearly distracted by the growing demonic impulse to rend her soul from her flesh. He bristled slightly at her moving to follow him further, but made no effort to drive her off for her own safety at this point as he entered into the woods.
"That's a shame. Hard to get by when you can't even trust the city."

"yeah you can say that," she said following him seeing a guard looking at her. She was scared and didn't want to be caught before the next tax run. She smiled a bead of cold sweat dripping down her temple.

He kept a careful eye on the guard until they were deeper into the forest, shadowy wisps clinging at his steps. He stopped in place suddenly, his ears perked at the sound of scampering wildlife nearby.
"What makes you so certain you can trust me though? If I were you, and here's a suggestion, friend, it may be advisable for you turn back to the city while you still have your soul intact. I do not wish to harm you, but the curse that binds my own soul will not be sated by any other means."
He dropped the hood finally, letting his glowing, purple eyes rest sternly on her face. "Please."
A clear plea from the last resistance his addled mind held against the night.
His complexion had grown pale and his lilac fur hung sickly at the sides of his face.
Dark, dripping shadows, seeming with a mind of their own, had crept over parts of his half-lupine face and horns. In the light of the lantern, it was clear this was no human nor merely some wayward wolf or vampire, but something else entirely. Something twisted by darkness. A wendigo. Something that should not exist outside of the tales of wayward lands.

she backed up her face pale "in my years this has got to be the strangest thing ive seen go into the city," she muttered, she couldn't leave him for the city cause if she was caught she would be burned at the stake for being a 'witch' but if she stayed she might die a less painful death. She was stuck at a cross road, which way to turn which way to go.

Lyon gripped at a tree trunk, his claws shredding into the bark like soft butter. His wings sprawled wide in the night air, dripping black ichor onto the forest floor.
"..If.. you choose to remain.." He growled out lowly between panting breaths, trying to explain the situation further to convince her. At least as much as he could manage as he registered the fear in her eyes. It pained him enough to grab back a sliver of his composure as he managed to slow his own snarling, taking a lumbering step forward. The shadows at his feet tangled at the roots of trees and stones, reaching outwards towards Luca.
"You will be plagued as I am.. Your soul and mind will be plunged to the darkness.. A demon.. A soulless beast, walking among men."

"Mother wanted me to stay out of the way. So I couldn't come to bother you sooner, sorry.", Diane said softly, shutting the door behind me. "Could you help me with my hair, I don't think I can comb out some of the knots myself."

She nodded. " What was there to stay out of? Its not like I was doing anything more important that you. " she said.

"I don't know, she probably didn't want me out and about during a day of mourning. I don't get why we have to mourn every year, he wasn't even that great of a ruler.", She mumbled, flipping through the pages of her book once more.

" I doubt she even cared about him herself. " She replied. It wasn't really a doubt, she knew she didn't care about him. She only cared about the power and money that came with him.
