In the center of the town a merchant of totally not questionable practices had packed up shop for the evening, throwing his leather bag over his short, black feathered wings. Somehow, despite the relative standstill of business, Lyon found himself more exhausted than usual and made his way back to the inn, nearly bumping into a strangely focused sellsword who was feverishly reading over a job.
Dex gave him a quiet apology and excused himself without so much as a further word, leaving the dogman glancing around the area for a moment before stopping outside the inn to recheck his coin totals.

(...I legit just got stuck in the rapids of a river with my sister.)
