Ah that's such a shame o.o
But it's still a long festival! And ya never know what you may bump into. ^^
Oh, and for the record, to ping someone just typing "@username" doesn't actually work. Above the area that you type your forum post, there's a long white box with "Ping Users" written just above it. Just list the names of people you want to ping and separate the names with commas, and it'll give them the alert. ^__^

Not yet that I know of.
The admins were still working on the Griffi pet itself when the festival was first set up and the exploration zone released, so it will probably take some more time to design and program the festival ones. ^^

Just caught myself a lovely winter festival Griffi. They are called Arctic Storm Griffi. I will likely end up mutating this guy~
