Schylur was eating a lunch they had made and brought with them at the end of the table. They nibbled on their apple, watching the card house rise then fall. Having cards have their own personality didn't seem all that strange. Schylur knew everyone was a bit different and people coped with things in their own way. Schylur liked talking to themself - when away from other people, of course, because talking with someone was scary at times. When talking to someone else, that person's attention was on you and that just built upon the anxiety of saying something correctly and forming the words in the right way without taking too long or else the people will think something's the matter. However, don't take too little time, either, because you'll end up saying something silly and/or people will think you're lying. So, Schylur preferred to be quiet.

Kino came over to the table where everyone was, cheerfully saying 'hi' and then asking if he could help build the cards up into a house again if Chester would let him. It wouldn't be smart to let him try. He messed things up and hurt more than helped in situations that needed precision. And it took a long time to get something into that thick skull of his. He tried to understand but it was hard for him.

Newt was sitl lrambling about card houses, in general beng his annoying unknowing half-deaf self. Eleni tuned him out as much as possible and went back to eating.

Asuriel looked up from her book, more people were in the cafeteria now and it was harder to focus. She glanced around, wondering if she should talk to any one. No one was at her table yet in anycase, though she wasn't too far from where Newt sat. She pulled out her phone again, deciding to try and study more.

Chester

The brightly colored boy just shook his head as Newt started his rambling and slowly tunned him out. Kino's arival gave him the perfect distraction to being bored by facts however and he happilly greated the tall boy. "Oh, hello Kino, nice seeing you here. No offence by those are plastic cards, they are not quite new players friendly and can have a mean bite, i'll gladely teach you laters with some who are not out to nip unsuspecting fingers!"

"Hey, are you any good at sleight of hand?"

He shuckle at that question and give a playfull wink. "What kind of entertainer isn't ? Of course i am dear."
