I'm thinking different for each gender. Something I've noticed about the majority of the pet art is that the male is usually the rambunctious, distant, aloof, or even aggressive one of the pair while the female is the direct opposite. I'd like to switch it around a bit. I'd like to see the male being the calmer, more open of the two while the female takes on a more guarded, protective appearance. This will go well with the females' larger physique.
