i decided to do a plush keychain of the luffox on the first page of this thread bc it's cute and has a strong week of love feel imo

Hi, here's my entry. :') I lost the little gem that I made for above his head, oops.

I realized I forgot to actually post my Valentines here!

Dreayl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKOVYw9R7oI - In order to match the Draeyl's stance, I curled the tail and folded the head to face backwards. This allowed me to position the legs to maintain their upright posture without looking like they were staring upwards.
Luffox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjPo3P-Wn_Y - For the Luffox, I folded the bottom in at an angle to make the head more level, and I folded the tail in on itself to create the 'stub tail' mutation. I also folded the nose in on itself to give it a rounder snout.
Rikki: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlaOPedhYWk - For this, I did not form the back legs entirely so it appeared to be seated like in the male pose. This also gave me more tail length to work with and curl around.

For my Valentine, I decided to make cupcakes!

I made red velvet batter and put them into cupcake cases


Once they were baked, I iced them with white chocolate ganache


I used more melted white chocolate mixed with red food colouring to make heart decorations


We didn't take a picture of this, but we made caramel nests to put mini eggs in.

This took me much longer than I expected. I apologize for the gaps in dates as I could only work on it periodically.

Final Product:
A little bit of explanation. I wanted to make an exploding box with various aspects of WoL depicted in the pictures: LG, nurturing, pet companion, and rikki themed. Additionally, there are 10 hearts in this valentine (well 11 including the one the vul is holding) to complete the Candy Heart Set. Hence the "use item" button. And when you open the heart card there is the item.





*don't know how I can show it w/o a video but basically when the lid is taken off the box opens up*

This is supposed to be a Valentine's Day Bulbori. It got away from me pretty quickly as I had no idea what I was really doing. I just had the idea and ran with it!











I did not have a pattern or a way to measure before cutting the pieces out, so it came out a bit small. I couldn't fit the arms on it and the fluff is just comically big on it but I am very proud of my squashed little Bulb. The whole thing (other than the neck fluff) was hand sown to boot!

Last minute change of plans since I knew I couldn't finish my original idea in time. In honor of the nyte revamp, I made a needle felted baby nyte based on the new artwork ^^

To start, I hauled out my supply of wool roving.

I started with the head, using the eyes I had to determine how big it should be

The body followed. Here's a pic comparing my current progress with my reference pic

After the body came the tail. I stripped a pipe cleaner of its fuzz and wrapped wool around the wire to create a bendable tail.

Missed a bunch of pictures between here, but I added the eyebrow fluff in hot pink, made triangular wings, and added the final touches of the beak and claws. Finally, I made my nyte a cute sign and a nest

This is very last minute but it's fine haha

Basically I made a valentine's box with a love potion necklace and a bunch of little valentine candy sylesti pins (designed based on the candies in the sudoku)
