I think it looks perfect!! :D I love the hair ^-^ So floof! Much volume!
I don't think the lighting is too much at all, I actually really like how it hits his face-- I myself have been wanting to attempt some warm pretty lighting like that lol. But artblock hits hard x-x
I don't blame you for the clothes lol, I hand drew the lace pattern and have cursed myself internally since-- especially since my program doesn't have a lace brush or anything.
Really love the inclusion of Ruby and Emerald :3c good sneks. Mmmm and the eyes are so sharp and shiny-- the earring is so shiny *^*

I'm relieved! Glad you like it. I tried for dramatic lighting, succeeded somewhat, although it seems slightly too harsh on the eyes.
Hhhhh lace, the enemy of all artists without a lace brush. I remember doing a commission earlier (I think it's on the first page of this thread) where there was so much lace... it was fun though!
I unfortunately don't have any socials, so the only thing you can use is my Sylestia profile xD And yes you may! This art is for you and therefore can be used/posted by you wherever you wish. Not to mention, the character belongs to you.
Speaking of characters, Kallistos' hairstyle looks really similar to one of my OC's! Xavier says hair besties!

I saw that comm! I was actually really impressed by all the lace lol, I knew it must have been an Effort to draw.
Also yes :0c I normally draw him with his hair down to be honest, since he's too lazy to put it up most of the time-- but putting him in a fancy outfit was a good enough excuse to give him a design with a high ponytail *^*
Kallistos would give Xavier a respectful fistbump lol.

Honestly I'm just happy you like this piece. It's not one of my favourites, tbh, and I'm not super satisfied with how it turned out. The composition just feels wonky, in addition to a bunch of stuff I identified in the semi-reflection-esque thing I wrote. Hopefully I'll be better if you decide to commission me in the future, and I can create something great then.

Commission - For Typhlosion
Character: Colour Zarina
Another painting-esque style piece. I'm getting better - the hair! That's where I want to be with everything else! The balance between blending and different colour blotches is good, unlike what's going on with the shading on the clothes. The hair is also very colourful, as his name suggests. All in all I'm quite satisfied with this piece. The background's also pretty cool, despite it not being what Typh originally requested. The only thing that's weird outside of the clothes shading is the chair, which just looks... wonky xD
