The growth and such for the animals goes by real time, so you can wait three this game days but it won't affect anything. For healing, everytime you help it it's health goes up 5. To see what it needs check it's file. It may or may not need something.
You bring it to the shelter. Other than being tired and scared, the otter is fine. (Check front page for info)

In the shop there are things to catch food, but you don't have any and food in inventory is all animals and people consumable. However treats are cheaper if you want to feed animals. And you can't go to shop and then come back or you can'tfind the animal again.
Foreverlydetermined
You see a plastic bag floating around. Suddenly it starts getting jerked.
Aloebreeze
It snuggles down, and you see it has a few broken bones. (I added a new rule to quote the post your responding to in case you didn't know.)
So I can give it the food I have? If I can, I will give it that food.

I feed the turtle and let the turtle rest while petting it to sleep

You read the diary. Apparently whoever wrote it is just starting or used up the last book, cause it isn't very long.
Day 6
Today we found our first crocodile. Barely managed to hit it before it got away. The hide will fetch a good price, just gotta make sure to keep it hidden. I still can't believe how many things we have sold without being caught.
Day 7
Horrible day. Didn't see a so much as a feather of anything good. Except the blue macaw which pushed me in the river. Blasted bird! I even missed my shot at it. So called partner laughed his head off while Annabelle giggled in her horrid way. It wasn't funny.
Day 8
Only staying 3 more days, including today. Still no sign of anything good. A spider bit me too. At first I thought it was wild, but it was Tim's tarantula. If I ever get my hands on it...
Day 9
Caught a blue macaw in one of our traps. Glad it wasn't another monkey. Had lots of feathers, and will make a great pillow. To bad it was Annabelle's trap. Mine is still empty.
There is no day 10, so this must be their last day here. Suddenly you feel nervous.
Do you want to check out the any of the other tents?

The younger otter turns around and makes a dash for the fish, but the older one stays by the ball with a smug look.

The chick drinks it. You have done all you can. Now what?

You drop some food by the crocodile, and it eats it. However without a transportation device there is no hope of getting the crocodile to the shelter especially in it's condition. It would be hard enough with a lead rope, although possible. What now?

You approach the supply tent and enter it. There are lots of crates labeled 'food' or 'dishes' and such near the front. Further back however are crates without labels. A quick peek let's you know they are the traps and transportation objects. you find a piece of Ivory in one, along with some other illegal objects. There is also a large sum of money in another crate. What will you decide to do with it and the other objects? Leave it? Take it for your own purposes? Take it to be turned in? Other?
