A moment of two later you were back on the solid ground of the cavern Sloth kneeling for you to get off more easily

I hop off and take a moment to gain my bearings.

Before you realize it Sloth wraps you in a hug, its odd seeing that he is normally emotionless and seems a tad distant, only really liking to sleep. "T-Thank you.." he mumbled, his voice shaky and soft

I hug him back "I-I should be the one thanking you" I mumble slightly flustered by the sudden show of emotion from him.

Sloth leaped back a bit as you spoke letting you go ruffling his hair as he gazed at the ground S-Sorry... he mumbled stepping back and giving you a bit of space

I lay a hand on his shoulder tentatively "Hey it.s fine. You just...surprised me that's all. And thanks for taking me up there it was...the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me."

Seeing you yawn Sloth patted your head before walking off down the slope towards the pool as the sun began to set " Sleep well" he called with a little wave before walking out of view

I nod and wave back before heading back to the cave I slept in yesterday curling up in the same spot. (I'd like to dream but you can come up with something if thats alright)

The Stone floor of the cavern felt cold and the breeze seemed to be rougher tonight, but you slept anyhow....

Dreaming came slow but your mind took you to mid winter again the bright white snow illuminating the earth as you walked the slight crunch echoing in your ears. However the air smelled thickly of smoke and a small figure could be seen in the distance though the thick falling snow and dim light made it hard to see
