Vagabond looks toward the crack, and goes toward the wall first.

"Um, I might be able to read them? It's usually a more advanced level than what I'm at, unfortunately... The runes give off this aura of... Bad. It is just naturally unsettling." Alex notes, keeping his distance from the runes.

Sammantha bats at the shield again and the hole opens wider. Looks like you can pass through it easily now. Samantha's tail waves like a flag as she prances through the opening.
Inside the wall is a stone village, all seeming to be dead and ghost like. It seems to have been abandoned for a while.
There are four possible structures to go to that don't look like they're about to break down.
A blacksmith workplace,
A witchy type of a place,
A room full of food,
And a statue in the middle of the town.

Vagabond beckons to Sammantha, looking toward the statue.

Jaz nodded pretending she had the faintest clue of anything Alex had just said. "So want to take a shot at it?" She said. If it was too advanced for him it was probably way above anything she would ever be able to interpret so she just waited patiently.

Alex laughs nervously, "Sure. I'll try..." There was a few moments of silence, Alex still staying far away from the runes. "Um, not quite sure. Something about a curse? Wendigo?" Alex takes a stab at deciphering. He shakes his head in defeat, " It's hard enough to th and figure out the regular ones. "

The closer you head to the statue, a pull starts to set in. It seems to be dragging you closer to the statue. Samantha had turned into a cat again. She races forward before sitting between to grey frozen statues that looked like they might have been the people of the town.
A figure stands in front of the statue, seeming to be staring at expectantly. Something was urging you to take a knee as well. Small cat Samantha was already turning into a grey statue thing like the rest of the group around.

Vagabond tries his best to pull out, and takes Sammantha with him.

The figure beneath the statue didn't seem to like you taking yourself and your cat friend away. Samantha mews, looking up at you before shaking slightly, returning to a normal white color. She purrs and stays beside you.
"Where do you think you're going? I'll give you two choices. Join my Gargoyle army or die." The figure says, advancing towards you. The figure had a strange hat on, that looked rather like a skull. The being also had magical fire and ice daggers that twirl around it, ready to launch at you at a moments notice.

"NEVER!" Vagabond growled.

He took the fire dagger using pyrokinesis, and lauched ahead.
