Lilura nods with her own smile. She then starts to head to Ruby's room, offering to help take some of the sandwiches so she could hold her hand as they walked. Yes, she gave the reason to hold some of the sandwiches and free up one of Ruby's hands. No, she didn't mean to.

"You're welcome." Lilura says, holding them carefully to not squish them. Then she holds Ruby's hand, grinning uncontrollably. Ok, so maybe Ruby was more than just a friend to Lilura...

The trip was over all too soon. Lilura sighs and looks at Ruby, "This is where I leave you... Good night." Lilura hands the sandwiches back to Ruby. She hesitates as she debates whether or not a kiss would be too much. Just a small kiss on the cheek... Lilura decided against it, giving Ruby a hug in farewell before heading to go to bed herself.

she hugged her back and went into her room feeding feechi a sandwich "plans changed were leaving tomorrow night i guess but i dont wanna leave her" she sighed racking her brain

Lilura fairly floated to her room. She giggles and runs a hand through Gahiji's feathers when she got to her room. She falls back onto her bed, thinking of Ruby, and looks at the ceiling, beaming. Lilura turned on her side, murmuring the tales of what happened to Gahiji. After she recounted what happened and a few minutes of combing her hands through Gahiji's warm feathers and fluff, Lilura fell asleep.

Morning came, gloriously announced as always, with the golden banners the sun set out and the chatter of the birds greeting the awakened star. The hustle inside the castle was proclamation enough, the hushed voices seemed to be those of ghosts as the guards passed fleetingly through the halls to get to or get back from their lonely posts.
